Watching them lie

It has been an odd day.  It was cold this morning and that deterred me from raking the leaves that had fallen over the last few weeks.  Today seemed to fly by rather quickly, and now I am sitting here watching the Madoff family lie on television. By watching this charade am I allowing myself to feel bad for them, no. I’m sorry Morley Safer, even your fine reporting can not make them tolerable.

I was happy to catch the radio, NPR, and hear about Lisa Hannigan today. I know that my affection for her music is directly influenced by my affection for her physical self and perhaps even her personality though that is harder to ascertain when it comes to those in the media.  It could all be an act, but I find that hard to believe.

Maybe I’ll keep working on my novel.
